I think these two here are the most important in getting through life. Everyone will go through tough times. The ability to persevere will get one through it the difficulty without losing tenure. Without it, one is likely to change their life dramatically to end the tribulation and therefore be faced with a new beginning. When one is able to withstand the onslaught of adversity, they come out of it stronger, smarter, and more experienced.
I have an amendment to an old saying. To the cliché, What goes around comes around, I have added, If you have the patience to wait for it. This of course is if you are waiting for to come around on someone who has wronged you in a certain way. If it is you deserving of a "come around" you better not be patient and haul butt. Thing is, if you have any sense at all, you can probable get away without too much damage.
